What's right for your facility?
At Fastenal, we believe that safety is everyone’s responsibility. From the C-Suite to the EHS manager to the part-time employee, it takes a collective effort to ensure safe practices are actually applied and efficiencies are being created. Even with the best of efforts, day-to-day business operations can create distractions for employees and near misses from blind spots in your processes. An extra set of eyes is key to catching hazards and inefficiencies in your facility. Fastenal safety specialists have created two different approaches to assist your safety program development. Workplace hazard assessment Fastenal specialists conduct a walkthrough of your facility with the goal of identifying immediate and obvious hazards. They focus on any Potential Serious Injuries and Fatalities (PSIFs). Then you're presented with documentation of controllable risk factors, feedback from employees gathered during the assessment, and steps for creating a plan to overcome and eliminate the hazards with the support of the Fastenal team. Signs you need a hazard assessment
Safety total cost of ownership analysis (TCOA) Conducted by Fastenal’s Safety and Lean Solutions teams, a Safety TCOA is a data and flow assessment of your safety product supply chain. The analysis tracks items in your facility all the way from procurement to disposal, identifying inefficiencies and areas of waste. What you end up with is the data you need to make informed decisions on process improvements, inventory management, and optimization. Signs you need a total cost of ownership analysis
Regardless of which approach you decide to take, Fastenal has experts who can help guide you while also keeping safety basics at the forefront. Vertical Divider
