Falls are the leading cause of fatalities in construction, accounting for over a third of deaths. To address this, OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down, held annually in the first week of May, aims to raise awareness about fall hazards.
Workers from all industries are encouraged to participate, engaging in training sessions, fall protection demonstrations, safety drills, audits, equipment maintenance, and policy reviews.
